More flowers, more art

“Art in Bloom” part III

I have to say, the floral interpretation of this painting by Chris Talbot blew me away! Botticelli’s of Lynnfield translated the look and feel of this unique mixed media collage in an utterly inviting way ... luring visitors to get close to it, walk around it, peer inside and proclaim “Amazing! I would have never thought of that!”

Nestled inside the large scale white lantern were clear glass cylinders containing brightly-hued orchids floating above earth-toned beach glass. Narrow bamboo branches guard the florals and capture the verticality of the graphic image. The effect was completely mesmerizing!
